Does Purely American offer signing or referral bonuses?

Question: What is a brochure fundraiser?    TOP
Answer: A brochure fundraiser refers to the concentrated two week effort by a non-profit group to raise needed funds showing one to three of our attractive printed brochures to take orders and, at the same time, receive payment. This is called a pre-selling system. After collecting all orders and money, the orders and a check to cover the cost is sent to Purely American. Within ten days, the order is processed and the pre-sorted products are shipped to the group. The individual products would then be delivered to the customer usually by the same group member who made the sale.

Question: Why are the brochures offered by GourmetFundRaising.com so profitable?    TOP
Answer: Our brochures are designed to offer nationally distributed gourmet foods at a fair price. Your customers who regularly purchase gourmet recognize the value because they recognize the brands. Many of these products have won distinguished award at the specialty food trade shows. In addition, we offer the customer the opportunity to save up to 28% when they purchase $$ saving samplers. The reason so many decide to do so is that, not only do they save $$, they also get to choose which products they want in the set. The net result is that the average sale (the check average) is up to five times higher than with other fundraising brochures because other brochures simply do not offer your customers a deal.

Question: What is the percentage of profit our group makes?    TOP
Answer: Please see the following chart.

Question: Does my group have to pay for the brochures?    TOP
Answer: There is no charge for our brochures. Obviously, they cost us money to print. What we ask is that you take this effort seriously and make your best effort to use the brochure to reach your goal. We do appreciate the return of any unused brochures when you send us your order.

Question: Does GourmetFundRaising.com offer a prize program?    TOP
Answer:  Prize Program

Dear Fundraising Coordinator:

Our prize program offers your team and individual members within your team the opportunity to earn some really great prizes by focusing on maximizing your sales by achieving the following criteria:

Your Group Can Earn An Extra 3% - 5% Profit. How?
1) achieve a “brochure return ratio” of 70%. = 3% Extra!

This simply means that if your group has 100 members who participate in our pre-sale brochure program, at least 70 members have to return each of their brochure(s) with at least one customer.
Objective: achieve a high rate of participation and your sales and profits increase dramatically!

2) achieve a “customer conversion ratio” of 70%. = 3% Extra!
This simply means that 70% of all your teams’ customers need to have been “converted” to buying one of our money saving specials in which they buy multiple items, instead of just buying one item.
Objective: achieve a high conversion ratio and your sales and profits can actually double!
Achieve both objectives and your groups’ extra Profit increase to 5%!

Individual Prizes

Individual team members can earn a chance at winning one of three great prizes at the end of the school year (deadline is June 15) by meeting the following criteria:

1) Sales of at least $300.
2) Conversion ratio of at least 70% of all customers.
3) Fifteen or more unique customers.

At the end of the school year, all qualifying team members from all groups nationwide will be entered in a drawing to win the following prizes:

We appreciate your business and look forward to helping your group reach its fundraising goals.

Sincerely, Ray Leard and dedicated staff of foodcrafters

Gourmetfundraising.com will donate an extra 3% - 5% of total sales based on your group reaching any two out of the three following criteria.

   3%

 4%

  5%
 Total  Sales  $4,000    $7,000    $10,000
Brochure Return Ratio  60%  70%  80%

Example: If a group initially receives 100 brochures, the return rate is the % returned with at least one order.

Customer Conversion Ratio 50% 60%  70%

Example: If a group’s total sales comes from 500 customers, the conversion rate is the % of all 500 customers who purchased one or more money saving specials.

The bonus earned will be based on the lowest category reached. For instance, sales of $7,000 and a Return Ratio of 80% would result in a 4% bonus. Here are a few ideas for your prize program that your group might want to consider:

A)  Before your fundraiser starts, poll all members to find out what they want as prizes. Pizza party/theme park trip for group, electronic gear/gift certificate for individuals are just a few ideas.

B)  Contact local businesses about buying their goods/services at a discount in exchange for advertising during the fundraiser.

C) Develop teams within the group. Top team gets a prize paid for with part of the prize program money.

D) Top three individual sellers receive a prize. To qualify, sellers might have to reach a specific sales base or sell a minimum number of money saving sets.

Question: What is the policy concerning damaged/missing products?    TOP
Answer: When you receive your order, inspect it immediately for any damage. We will send you replacements ASAP. If part of order is missing, we will gladly resolve all these issues for a full week after the order has arrived at your facility.

Question: How can my group maximize our sales?    TOP
Answer: The most obvious way is to focus all you energies on getting your customers to consider buying the $$ saving sets. If your sales force simply informs your customers that our brochures offer hand-crafted gourmet quality products offered at a fair price they will never know the deal they missed because they did not see it and the seller never told them. The other obvious influence on making this effort a tremendous success is to motivate your staff to get out there and present the product. Another idea is to keep your sales force informed of where you are at in terms of achieving the goal. Posting a bar chart or sales thermometer in the hallway. Or, develop a buddy system in which 2-4 members stay in touch with each other to compete against each other to see who can sell the most. The other idea is to create sales teams for the same purpose.

Question: Can our group offer more than one gourmet brochure at a time?     TOP
Answer: Yes. The potential for incredible sales, especially during the fall/holiday season are tremendous. We advise three at the most. Click here to view choices.

Question: Does gourmet fundraising from Purely American appeal to all types of customers?     TOP
Answer: Historically, the consumers who have the most $$ to support fundraising efforts are the same exact consumers who desire and buy gourmet foods. These are consumers with two income households, higher levels of education, with professional jobs have the most disposable income to support fundraising and buy the most gourmet foods. Not all consumers who support fundraising efforts come from the segments, but the vast majority do.

Question: Which brochures work best for my group?     TOP
Answer: Generally speaking, it depends on three things. First, do your members believe in the product? Secondly, do your customers want what you have to offer? And third, is you group organized? Specifically, it may have to do with the time of the year or the price points or a wide variety of other issues. Go to FUNDRAISING BASICS FOR MORE.
